Marcos Navas is the founder of Hands on Coding blocks, a Design Thinking expert and IDEO Teachers Guild Fellow, an Apple Education Trainer, a TED Innovative Educator, and one of the original Flipgrid Ambassadors. As an active member of the Maker community, Marcos is passionate about 3D printing and is an educational leader at the Maker Depot Academy in Totowa, New Jersey. He is the founder of EdcampUrban, which offers free professional development by teachers, for teachers. Marcos is on a mission to help reform education and expose kids to the latest in technology. With that goal in mind, he is now helping schools, organizations and corporations get started with the Metaverse, an immersive 3D world where people interact digitally. He is truly STEAMing his way through the Maker Revolution and bringing education along for the ride!
