You heard it from Mark Zuckerberg. The metaverse is here! But what exactly is it? How does it work? And how can we teach and learn in this 3D virtual immersive world? In this session, Marcos Navas will provide a brief introduction to the metaverse and guide attendees through an actual metaverse experience! Attendees will have the opportunity to enter the MicroSociety Micro Mindset Metaverse Auditorium, where together we will explore our understanding of the Micro Mindset, brainstorm its components, share illustrative stories, and pinpoint exactly what makes this mindset so powerful. The experience will contribute to the MicroSociety movement, while giving attendees a window into some of the ways educators can ride this exciting new wave in technology.
