Devon LaRosa is deputy chief of schools at High School Network in the Chicago Public Schools and former principal of Robert M. LaFollet High School in Madison, Wisconsin. He speaks frequently on lessons from the virtual classroom, making school relevant to students, better preparing students to pursue their passions, and putting compassion and empathy at the core of education systems. An educator of more than 14 years, Devon is committed to equity, excellence, academic rigor, and the teaching of social responsibility through developing the capacity of others to achieve district and school goals. He is focused on developing long-term, transformational relationships that impact 21st century learners, leaders, educators, families and the community. He is a National Equity Project Fellow serving families and children who have been historically underserved by our institutions and systems and a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership at Auroria University in Aurora, Illinois.
