Sheryl Dunton

Sheryl Dunton, who recently retired after a 37-year career in education in four different districts and several states, has worked as a special educator and on assessing bilingual students and providing direct services. She also served as department chair for her team. Sheryl became a MicroSociety Coordinator in 1993 and helped initiate and implement MicroSociety at Talbot Hill Elementary School, and then served as its principal for 13 years. She has worked as a Certified MicroSociety Training Consultant, helping schools with training and implementation. She has also presented at MicroSociety conferences and various other state and national conferences and has published articles in special education journals and in ASCD.
